Bat Spotlight: 2017 Adidas Aero Burner

You might have seen a couple of weeks ago when University of Miami's Edgar Michalangeli started a bench-clearing brawl against Boston College after flipping his bat. The bat that ignited the grand slam and subsequent brawl? The heavily anticipated 2017 Adidas Aero Burner, of course.

Adidas is set to release the Aero Burner in the next month. The bat is already being used by some of the top collegiate programs in the nation and will, no doubt, be a popular baseball bat when it's released.

TaylorMade Collaboration

Like the Adidas RBZ, X1, and X2 before it, the Aero Burner has adapted TaylorMade's game-changing golf technology for their baseball bats. The bat provides ideal weight distribution, lowering MOI, and increasing swing speed and control.

Grip It And Rip It

EQT grip tape is designed to enhance player control throughout the swing. The grip tape makes it easier to handle the bat without having to worry about damage to the bat or, more importantly, your hands.

Modern Alloy Construction

The Aero Burner is made of layered and compressed high performance alloy to provide explosive power and extraordinary durability. This is similar to recent Adidas bats, but the company continues to build on this promise.

Streamlined Barrel

And, of course, the streamlined barrel allows for maximum bat speed and control.

The Adidas Aero Burner awill feature a balanced swing weight and it will be available as a BBCOR, Senior League -8 drop, Senior League -10 drop, and Youth models. Adidas plans for an August 2016 launch and JustBats will have the bat available when Adidas is ready.
