Web Programmer:

Position Summary:
The Web Programmer position provides support, analyzes problems, develops solutions, tests for quality, and documents all findings from all IT systems supported by JustBats.com.

Essential Duties:
  • Assist in supporting internal help desk ticket system.
  • Leverage the latest in web technologies like MVC, jQuery, Ajax, .Net, Linq, and C# using Microsoft Visual Studio.
  • Experience with CSS, HTML along with JavaScript, .Net and C# are a plus.
  • Assist in performing quality assurance testing and procedures.
  • Assist in accessing Microsoft SQL databases to fetch data, create procedures, or create ad-hoc reports.
  • Aid in documenting/Updating internal standard procedures.
  • Other tasks as needed.
Additional Duties:
  • 1-2 years practical experience working in a software team that is customer focused.
  • Experience with data warehousing, ELT, and SSRS.
  • Developing programming and problem solving skills.
  • Desire to focus on results, not busy work.
  • Creative thinking with the ability to ask great questions.
  • Energetic verbal communication in addition to solid writing skills.
  • Experience using web technologies to create things people love.

Quality Assurance Engineer - Web:

Position Summary:
JustBats.com is looking for creative problem solvers to assure the quality of our existing e-commerce software offerings and create assured quality for our new ones. At JustBats.com, you’re not just implementing somebody else’s spec. QA Engineers work with software developers, release management, product management, support staff, and customers in the service of quality and performance of our web-based products. Quality Assurance is vital to the success of our company.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Experience diagnosing, reporting, tracking and resolving quality issues.

Seasonal Shipping and Receiving Associates

Seasonal Job:
February, 2012, to June, 2012

Position Summary:
The Shipping and Receiving Associate is responsible for shipping merchandise; receiving, unpacking, verifying and recording incoming merchandise; and arranging for the transportation of products. Stock and maintain inventory in addition to pulling and packaging orders.

Essential Duties:

  • Package product for shipping (boxing, labeling).
  • Stage product for loading.
  • Unload inventory and materials from truck.
  • Move waste from assembly line to dumpsters.
  • Quality control for all outbound shipments.
  • Operate within system action plans.
  • Operate forklift. (Training will be provided)
  • Complete daily logs.
  • Communicate with operators from other shifts.
  • Clean and maintain work area.
  • Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use.
  • Other duties as reasonably assigned.

Additional Duties:

  • Provide assistance for other distribution employees.
  • Provide on-the-job training to new employees.
  • Essential Qualifications:
  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Manual dexterity required for operating machinery.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds required.
  • Working Conditions:

Seasonal Customer Service Representative

Seasonal Position:

February, 2012 to June, 2012

Position Summary:

Answer phones and electronic communications in response to orders, general customer inquiries, invoice questions, and customer complaints. Project a professional company image through verbal and written interaction.

Essential Duties:

  • Weekend Shift (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
  • Answer phones and respond to customer requests.
  • Answer email communications in response to customer inquiries.
  • Sell product and place customer orders in computer system.
  • Provide customers with product and service information.
  • Promote product add-ons and shipping upgrades.
  • Identify, research, and resolve customer issues using the computer system.
  • Follow-up on customer inquiries not immediately resolved.
  • Research billing issues.
  • Recognize, document and alert the supervisor of trends in customer calls.
  • Recommend process improvements.
  • Other duties as reasonably assigned.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Computer literate with the ability to learn customer service software applications.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to have fun and love what you do.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Previous contact center experience.
  • Strong knowledge of baseball and or softball.
  • Passion for sports and winning.
  • Ability to carry on a phone conversation in Spanish.
