The 2013 College Baseball season has reached the end of the road, and eight teams have survived and advanced to the NCAA College World Series in Omaha: Mississippi St., Oregon St., Indiana, Louisville, North Carolina, NC State, UCLA and LSU. Each team has its individual strengths and weaknesses; but there is one thing that they all have in common, they swing the best bats in the game. Below is a breakdown of the teams and the bats they’ll be swinging in Omaha. Listen to how they sound when the bat makes contact with the ball, and see if you can tell if any of the bats hit farther than the others. Try to pick out as many as you can from this list and imagine what it must feel like to swing what these ballplayers are swinging on college baseball’s biggest stage. |
