The Easton Ghost Unlimited -10 Fastpitch Softball Bat is a premium choice for players who want high-level performance without sacrificing swing speed or barrel control. At the center of the barrel is Easton’s advanced Sonic Comp MAX material, considered a major step up from the original Sonic Comp. This upgraded composite construction provides low compression with high performance and durability, giving hitters a responsive barrel that stays hot while continuing to deliver that distinct Ghost sound at contact. To expand performance across the barrel, Easton uses the Double Barrel EXT design, which pairs a lightweight inner barrel with a strong outer barrel to create a powerful trampoline effect. Easton also extends the barrel length by one inch using this design, resulting in a larger sweet spot and more forgiveness—helping hitters square up more pitches and drive the ball with confidence, even on mishits.
To enhance comfort and reduce sting on off-center contact, the Ghost Unlimited features Easton’s VRS 1 design, an internal connection system created through reverse engineering that eliminates the need for an external connector. That keeps the bat lightweight while still minimizing vibration at contact. Easton also adds the Power Boost “Soft Knob,” which provides a more comfortable feel for the bottom hand while increasing leverage through the swing and cutting down on any remaining vibrations that make it past the connection. Finally, the bat is finished with a 1.2mm Flow-Tack grip, delivering excellent cushion and traction to help hitters stay locked in and confident during aggressive swings.
