John MacDougall is a baseball purist that loves the feel and tradition of an all-wood bat. He didn’t want to compromise durability in producing all-wood models, so he headed to his workshop to create a durable bat with no foreign materials like plastic, foam or fiberglass. After a year and a half of testing, John MacDougall finally got the idea to use two different woods. From this, the MacDougall and Sons PowerWood Series was born.
