Hi, I'm Michele Smith. And I want to talk about my favorite drill. A lot of times we find hitters have a tendency to want to stride out and hit off of that front leg. Well, when we do that, we lose all of our power. And the pitcher beats us. So a proper swing is gonna be getting front foot down, stride foot down, and staying on that back foot, because again this is where our power comes from that back foot, that back leg, backside rotation. So one of the drills that I love to work on is actually swinging on just that back foot. So we're gonna raise the front foot up. We're gonna stay balanced on this back foot, and I'm gonna take a cut at the ball off of the tee. So this is what it looks like. So what that does is it teaches you to really use that backside. It helps you with your balance, it's a fun drill. It's challenging. Use it and see if it helps your game as well.
