The Rawlings 5150 line was one of the strongest lines top to bottom in 2011. Its shining star is the BBCA - the BBCOR model in the 5150 line. This bat has been one of the best selling, best performing BBCOR bats on the market.

The SL51XA is the -10 2 3/4" big barrel bat that was built using the same technology as the BBCA. This bat has great pop and has been compared to the Prodigy in terms of performance.

The SL51A1 is the -10 big barrel that has a 2 5/8" barrel diameter. It was built on the same great technology as the SL51XA and BBCA but is designed for those players that would perfer, or are required to use, a bat with a slightly smaller bat.

The YB5J10 is one of the newest bats in the 5150 line. This is Rawlings' first entry in to the Junior Big Barrel market. This bat has a ton of pop and is stamped and approved for use in USSSA play in 2012.

There is also a 2 1/4" bat in the 5150 line, the YB51B, but maybe more exciting are the bats that are set to be in the line for Christmas. The 5150 Velo is Rawlings' newest line of 5150's and the BBCOR in the line has a ton of hype around it. Look for it to be released some time in November of 2011.
