Each AP5 is handmade from the top Maple billets cut from naturally grown trees located in Pennsylvania forests. The Bone Rubbing Technique utilized by Marucci closes the pores of the wood, which in turn compresses the wood and makes the bat harder - similar to the methods of baseball greats Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig. Whether you swing for the fences, or prefer to spray the ball from gap-to-gap, the Marucci AP5 is a great option. It comes in two different color schemes (Black Barrel-Natural Handle; Natural Barrel-Black Handle), as well as both Adult and Youth sizes.
