2012 Anderson TechZilla Youth Bat = Awesomeness!

Posted by Megan P on Oct 10, 2011 5:00:49 PM

JustBats.com received the new 2012 Anderson TechZilla youth bat recently. Anderson created the TechZilla to help the average youth ballplayer become a great hitter. A lot of bats claim they can improve a players game, so how do you know if it truly does? I decided to do some investigatory work and ask one of our experts if the TechZilla is as good as it claims to be. Watch the video and find out why the TechZilla is taking the youth market by storm!

OMG, OMG, OMG!

Posted by Megan P on Oct 4, 2011 10:33:40 AM

Friday, September 30th started off as a regular Friday afternoon at the JustBats.com facility. The mood was light and everyone chatted about their weekend plans. It was another ordinary day UNTIL an unannounced visitor stepped through our doors. I couldn’t believe who I was seeing with my own eyes. I even got tangled in my chair as I tried to get a better look over the cubicle walls. Who was it?! It was THE Michele Smith. Yes, that’s right. The two-time olympic gold medalist stopped by our JustBats.com facility. As a legend in the ASA Hall of Fame, Michele Smith achieved so much success as a fastpitch player. She continues to make an impact on the faspitch world in a variety of ways. She even designed a cutting edge fastpitch bat called RIP-IT Elite Force: FORC2. You can check it out on our website here.

Miken MV-1 Supermax

Posted by Megan P on Sep 28, 2011 3:31:05 PM

Miken MV-1 Supermax is making its debut in the slow pitch scene, and it’s no ordinary bat. It’s one of the hottest slow pitch bats of all-time. Since it’s so amazing, the Creative Team thought the MV-1 Supermax was deserving of a different video style. Slow pitch star, Jeremy Isenhower, swings the MV-1, so the Creative Team invited Mr. Isenhower out to the JustBats.com facility to be in our video.

The New 2012 Easton Reflex

Posted by Megan P on Sep 27, 2011 4:05:36 PM

Your go to bat just got a makeover. Easton has always been a staple in the world of baseball and the Reflex has been the go to bat for players wanting a brand name bat at an affordable price. In the past the design was just okay though; with the 2012 series they upped the ante. The sleek new look screams speed. Even when the bat is still, it looks fast, like a Ferrari with black candy paint and red leather interior. It is only right that the Reflex be constructed with 7050 “Aircraft” alloy. The graphics look like the bat just got sucked through a jet propeller and the Reflex that ensued was a home run. This sleek new design features a massive sweet spot indicated on the barrel, so you can step to the plate confidently knowing where you need to make contact. Equipment doesn’t make a player; it just makes them more confident. Are you confident your swing is the right Reflex?

Dream BIG

Posted by Megan P on Sep 24, 2011 11:07:05 AM

I was in Oklahoma City for the inaugural Border Battle (USA Men’s Slow Pitch Game vs Canada). JustBats.com hung out with the USA Men’s Team throughout the weekend to record video of the game’s best players. As I shot video of the team, I took notice of a young boy named Easton Rulli. He is the son of USA Team member, Dennis Rulli, and the designated bat boy for the weekend. Easton caught my eye right away when I saw him at practice. First of all, you could tell he’s a gifted ball player, but more importantly, you could instantly notice his passion for the game. He showed up for every USA Team’s practice ready to go. He didn’t shy away when Brett Helmer crushed a ball his way or pass up an opportunity to take some cuts. You could tell Easton was inspired by his idol, his dad. He watched his every move, mimicking his dad’s skills to hone in on his own.
