The reason for the recall is because Louisville Slugger has become aware of a manufacturing issue that has compromised the durability of the oneX which can potentially result in cracking between the handle and barrel. In order to protect the players and maintain their reputation as one of the worlds best bat manufacturer’s, Louisville Slugger has taken the proactive step of recalling the 2013 oneX. Louisville Slugger is requesting that customers contact them directly through their Customer Service Department at 1-800-282-2287 to discuss the issue further and so they can explain the replacement options.
