We get a lot of questions surrounding Easton’s Power Brigade S-Series, so we’re here to help you decide which one is best for you. The S-Series, or Speed Series, is focused on increasing swing speed to generate more power. It’s designed for players who are great at making contact, but would like to gain some distance on those hits. The S-Series is available in Junior Big Barrel, Youth, Youth Big Barrel and BBCOR.
Keys to Victory:
- Lower M.O.I.
- Balanced Swing Weight
- Lighter Length to Weight Ratios (in Youth and Youth Big Barrel Models Only)
S1 The S1 is the top-of-the-line model that features a two-piece composite design. The IMX Composite barrel makes for a very responsive sweet spot, and the upgraded SIC Black Carbon Composite handle provides incredible durability. Fusing together these two pieces is Easton’s patented ConneXion technology. This makes the bat flex upon contact, which creates a whip effect that will help bring the bat through the zone quicker, further increasing bat speed.

S2 The S2 is a two-piece hybrid design with a composite handle and alloy barrel. Players still benefit from the flex in the handle of this two-piece design, but the alloy barrel means it’s hot right out of the wrapper and will not require a break-in period like fully composite models.
S3 With its one-piece alloy design, the S3 is a great option for those who prefer a stiffer feel, which transfers energy more efficiently to the ball during contact. Due to the alloy barrel design, this bat will not require a break-in period.
