Debuting this fall, Rawlings is set to release their 2014 lineup. Eager to be on the cutting edge of design technology, they will be releasing updated models of their popular 5150 and 5150 Velo, as well as their brand new model - the Rawlings Trio. |
Rawlings’ Precision Optimized Performance (pOp) Barrel Technology offers a unique feel by isolating extra weight to a smaller region of these bats, leading to a faster swing. The Comp Lite end cap is fused to the barrel using Rawlings’ Bi/fusion process, adding to the bat’s durability and performance. |
2014 Rawlings 5150 Alloy
Continuing with their most successful line of baseball bats, the 5150 is back for 2014 and features a newer, sleeker design. Made from Rawlings’ ultra-responsive 5150 Alloy, the 5150 features both an extra-long barrel and an extremely low M.O.I.

2014 Rawlings 5150 Velo
Rawlings is also bringing back the popular 5150 Velo. Much like the 5150, the Velo is comprised of Rawlings’ 5150 Alloy. However, unlike the 5150, the Velo features composite materials in the last two inches of the barrel. Doing so helps reduce the bat’s swing weight, making it one of the quickest bats on the market. |
2014 Rawlings Trio
New for 2014, the Trio features a three-piece hybrid design. The Trio blends Rawlings’ Comp Lite Endcap, 5150 Alloy barrel and composite handle to create an incredibly responsive bat. Together, they combine to give the Trio an ultra low M.O.I. - leading to a faster swing - and increased barrel flex. The Trio is available in both a Balanced and an End Loaded design.
