Every month we would like to introduce you to a department at JustBats.com. Each department around here plays a key role in making sure everything runs smoothly and you get your bats in a timely manner, while having a great experience shopping with us. Meet the Development Team, this department is responsible for everything you see and use on JustBats.com, so now you can finally put a face to JustBats.com!

Every Monday we’d like you to meet someone new around here at JustBats.com. Get to know us a little better! Meet Kris! Kris works in the Customer Service department and makes sure you have an awesome experience when you shop at JustBats.com! Here is what makes Kris tick.

1. How long have you worked here at JustBats.com?
About a year and half.
2. What are some of your responsibilities in the Customer Service Department?
I answer e-mails, do the online chat and answer phone calls.
3. What do you enjoy most about being a CSR at JustBats.com?
I enjoy the fact that every email, chat or phone call is different each time. It makes things very interesting.
4. You interact daily with our customers, are there ever any challenges with that?
Of course! Every time a customer contacts us we have to be able to adapt to the situation and try and find a solution. We will try every possibility to make a customer have a great experience.
5. What's your favorite memory since working at JustBats.com?
A customer sent us an alloy barreled bat that he painted to have a wood finish for an exchange…priceless.
6. What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I like to golf, play basketball and attend sporting events.
7. Any advice for people coming in to your line of work?
Try putting yourself in the customer’s shoes, what would you want done?
8. What gets you laughing the hardest?

Royals and the Chiefs

The 2012 JustBats.com June Jam is behind us and it was a huge success. We had 80 teams competing in the tournament this year from all over the midwest. It was great to see so many people support the tournament and come out to either watch or play baseball. We would like to announce the winners for JustBats.com June Jam 2012. 1. How long have you worked here at JustBats.com?
Five and one half years. I started here after a 30 year teaching/coaching career.
2. What are some of your responsibilities out in the Distribution Center?
I process, pull, and ship orders. I am also in charge of the Glove Care Kits.
3. What do you enjoy most about working out in the D.C.?
The fact that I have several different tasks and each day is different.
4. Are there any challenges you face in the D.C.? If so, how do you overcome them?
Just be willing to adapt to any situation
5. What kind of things do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I enjoy woodworking, traveling with my wife Christine, playing golf, and attending baseball games all over the United States
6. What's your favorite memory since working at JustBats.com?
Hanging around the old JustBats.com store and helping Scott carry in the embroidery machine.
7. Any advice for people coming into your line of work?
Try to do the best you can and have fun.
